“It’s good that two young guys are battling up front in different cars,” added Verstappen. “And it’s good for Formula 1 that the young people take over a bit. It just goes to show that getting things right is difficult.
“Sometimes you nail down a certain regulation and it always seems like you know and understand why that is. But of course that’s not always the case. Sometimes it’s a stroke of luck and with these new regulations Ferrari have started really well. It’s like this now.” It’s up to us to close the gap.”
