Maya Henry’s friends suggested she and Liam split a month ago and say he showed her ‘disrespect’.

The 21-year-old model’s friends are said to have rallied around her following her split from the former One Direction star.

A source close to Maya told The Mirror the report of their split a month ago was “totally trash”.

“Her friends are all gathering around her,” they said.

“The press coverage of their split over a month ago is absolutely rubbish. All her things are still at his house and her car! ”

“This is a blow to Maya, she’s getting her things out of his house so she can move on and forget they were together.”

“To say you never know someone is an understatement. They were engaged and he didn’t respect her at all.

“She is now thinking about her next steps and building a new life without Liam.”

It was reported that the couple decided to go their separate ways last month after they had previously called off their engagement in June 2021.

Confirmation of their split came after photos of Liam wrapped his arms around American model Aliana Mawla, 24, appeared on a fan’s Instagram account on Monday.

After the images surfaced, the model wrote: “I love all my fans so much but please don’t send me pictures of my fiancé entwined with another woman.

“This isn’t me and it’s hard to know this happened without seeing it. Enough for now.”

Aliana is a 24-year-old model and influencer who starred in the music video for Liam’s song “Familiar”.

Liam’s rep confirmed that the couple ended their relationship a month ago and that “Maya’s comments referring to Liam as her fiancé are untrue and highly misleading. .”

In an interview with People, Liam admitted that the pair were locked in “a lot,” but worked it out.

“I think we’ve been through a lot during COVID. I feel like we’ve come out on the other side of it a little bit stronger.

“Most couples who have been married for years have a hard time, don’t they? So, I mean, we’re still really happy to be here together today.”

Liam and Maya then got back together last July, just a month after calling off their engagement.

The male singer asked Maya to marry in 2020, just a year after the couple started dating.

Maya and Liam have known each other for years, but first met at a One Direction fan meet and greet event when she was 15 years old.

The singer was previously in a relationship with former Girls Aloud member and X Factor host Cheryl Cole, 38, from 2016 to 2019. Their son, Bear, was born in March. 2017.
