McVities is launching White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes – here’s how to get a limited edition box

McVities has finally answered fans’ prayers and released White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes – but there are only 40 boxes up for grabs. Here’s how to get your hands on one

Whether you’re a die-hard fan who’s been waiting for this variation for years or just fancy trying a new flavor, McVities has finally announced the launch of White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes.

After releasing its Lemon & Lime flavor just a few weeks ago, the company has now unveiled its new packs of white chocolate Instagram.

However, the cookie company is only releasing 40 boxes and fans have to enter the contest to win a box.

The caption of the post read: “In the moment you’ve all been dreaming of…we baked some white chocolate Jaffa cakes for you! And YOU can WIN something.

“We’re giving you a chance to WIN 1 of 40 Limited Edition Packs #jaffadreamsdocometrue”.

The treats will still feature their classic orange-flavored interior, the squishy and fluffy layer of the original, and the new white chocolate cracker topping that replaces the existing dark chocolate.

To stand a chance of winning a box, you must walk @jaffacakesofficial Like the contest post on Instagram and tag the person you would most like to share a pack of Jaffa White Chocolate Cakes with – even if you have no intention of actually handing out the snacks.

You have until May 2nd to enter and a winner will be chosen at random on May 3rd.

Fans loved the news and took to social media to share their excitement.

One just said, “OMG”.

Another said: “I just saw @McVities make white chocolate Jaffa cakes and I think damn yeah I’m going to eat a lot of them.”

While one fan exclaimed, “I need these in my life!!!!”

Alice Jamieson, Brand Manager for Jaffa Cakes at McVitie, said: “The Jaffanatics spoke and we listened.

“We couldn’t be more excited to launch this competition and offer forty lucky Jaffa people the chance to see their Jaffa dreams come true and be the first to taste our Limited Edition White Chocolate Jaffa Cakes.”

The company has not yet revealed whether the new box will eventually become a fixture.
