Meet Danielle Marinelli, Founder and CEO of FinTech company: DTSocialize Holding

After 23 years working as a consultant for large companies in Italy, I began to feel that this wasn’t my dream job. I wanted (and still want) to build something that can last, and while doing that I wanted to give back to the world and create a virtuous circle. After Bitcoin was born, I decided to learn more about this new phenomenon and researched the technology behind it.

And realizing the great potential of cryptocurrencies, I started thinking about creating an ecosystem that could meet the needs of global technology users – including a digital currency that could complement fiat and therefore be used in everyday life – and that could give the User community Credit for data shared while staying online. This is how the DTCircle ecosystem came to life.

A network of services and platforms through which users can protect their privacy or monetize their online experiences if they choose to share data within the ecosystem and receive a reward for the data shared while using the various services. And that was just the beginning of a new and great adventure.

How did you come up with the idea for DTSocialize?

The real trigger for the eventual founding of DTSocialize was seeing how the big tech companies were getting more and more revenue from monetizing people’s data through advertising. As I have always said, if you are not paying for a service, it means that you are somehow becoming a product for that particular provider. And that’s exactly what happened starting with Facebook, which has been selling big data for years and whose example was quickly followed by others.

I thought that there is a need in the market for users to either protect their own data or benefit from it, and this is the purpose behind the creation of DTCircle, an ecosystem that offers technical solutions and social communication services to protect the privacy of the People provides a global user community that now consists of more than 700,000 people.

For example, we have a messaging app called Uup Messenger that uses the exact same technology as bitcoin to encrypt all communications you transmit through it. So my point was, let’s start by giving people the choice to keep their data for themselves or to choose to share data within the ecosystem, data that is then anonymized and stored in big data stacks for the market research are aggregated. In this last case, instead of being the source and target of marketing campaigns without making a penny, people could be rewarded for the data they share.

The ecosystem was the primary method of activating the DT community and was the catalyst for the next phase of DTSocialize’s expansion. If data gathered from app and social media usage can be valuable, how much is data shared through credit cards or other financial services?

And the DTCircle community expressed an appetite for various services that could capitalize on the company’s goal of protecting their customers’ data or rewarding users for sharing it. Because of this, my team has started building new skills for the company. This led to the integration of payment solutions and FinTech services alongside social communication apps and tools. DTSocialize Holding (DTSH) aims to provide its community with a seamless user experience in a single cross-platform ecosystem where people can transact, manage their assets, communicate, shop and socialize in both the physical and virtual worlds.

I would like to outline one thing: by offering fintech services, we want to build a bridge between the classic banking world, including asset management, and new payment technologies and solutions. We want to fill a gap that still exists in the current banking system and help people to easily manage both their traditional and digital assets while using all the standard procedures of AML, KYC, always in full compliance with the current regulations.

What projects are you currently working on? Is big data the main focus of the company?

In fact, as a company, we are rooted in big data and we will continue to work on and reward people who are willing to share their data in our ecosystem. The reward is based on our DTCoin, the utility token that users within the ecosystem can spend to purchase goods or services when using Ubuyup, our app that gives our community access to a select number and type of stores.

What we’re working hard on now is taking the ecosystem to the next level. Our technicians develop individual digital IDs using NFT technology and the ID is based on a clear preliminary identification process to obtain it. You may be wondering why this is important and my answer is that in the future people should be able to use this digital ID to securely access any type of service.

The most important thing will be to comply with the various regulations. For example, individuals will be thoroughly identified, meaning any authority can see who is behind the digital ID (for financial services, individuals must submit to AML and KYC procedures), while hackers will not be able to access the information a person arrive so easy. An example I often do is the following. Let’s imagine I have an accident on a trip abroad. With my digital ID, I enable the hospital to access my information at once and act for the best.

What can we expect from DTSocialize in the next few years?

I have ambitious plans and my people are very committed to them. Being a bit of a visionary, I started actively working on the Metaverse two years ago. For me, the Metaverse is not a game and not just virtual reality for gaming. It brings a world of opportunity, both from a personal and business perspective. I believe that the Metaverse will definitely become the natural evolution of the web as we know it.

The social networks and websites are undergoing a profound transformation due to the integration with the Metaverse and thanks to what I love to define the immersive experience you can have there. But that’s just the tip of the classic iceberg. Let’s try to imagine how the world of online shopping could change in the Metaverse, where the avatar can move around stores, choose and try products, and get advice from the AI, which interacts with us to choose what’s on suits us best.

Or how attending online meetings, conferences, reports and business presentations will change. We will feel like we are there instead of feeling separated by physical distance. There will also be tremendous benefits for disabled people, who will have the opportunity to have experiences that are otherwise undreamt of. Visiting museums on other continents, attending prestigious universities (for much less pay), attending conferences, concerts and whatever other experiences will be able to make the metaverse accessible.

Rather than just focusing on the more leisurely activities envisaged by other pre-existing Metaverses, Umetaworld, our DTSH version of the Metaverse, will be symbiotic with the real physical world and this will allow people to interact with other people who walk the streets walk along Dubai without leaving their couch and enjoy the sights and shopping that they can do there.

We don’t just want to make our products and services available on the Metaverse, we open ourselves to service and product providers around the world, to universities, training centers, museums and anyone interested in opening their doors to people, wherever they are are.
