Meet Megan Jones and Oli Bennett, co-founders of XITE Energy

XITE Energy has a range of delicious products that give you all-natural, pure energy with no crashes or bad ingredients. We’re the first brand to bring the nootropic ingredient to the UK and we’re committed to changing the way we think about energy drinks and protein bars.

We’ve left out the unnecessary chemicals and high sugar content that you might find in the products currently on the market. We’ve replaced these with our unique nootropics formula instead to support mental alertness and cognitive function.

We originally launched XITE as a solution for unhealthy energy drinks in the extreme sports space, but we’ve since rebranded to focus on the nootropic element. We recently launched our vegan protein bars in two delicious flavors (White Chocolate Chip & Salted Caramel) to appeal to the growing audience of health-conscious consumers.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?

Oli Bennett is an FIA World Rallycross driver and I take great interest in my fitness and diet. Both Oli and I were heavy consumers of energy drinks, but always fretted about the negative health effects. Oli was an avid nootropic user, which helped him focus on the racetrack as a professional driver. We decided to combine these requirements to create XITE. Not only does it help you feel focused, but it also doesn’t make you feel guilty about drinking it.

There is such a limited choice of nootropics outside of pills or supplements that they can be expensive and it is easy to forget to take them – we have made it our mission to solve this problem with our products by making them more accessible to the consumer do.

The all-natural range contains five active nootropics; which can help improve mental performance and increase memory, focus, creativity, intelligence and motivation. Nootropics are herbal supplements and help boost our brain, which helps increase memory, alertness, motivation, focus, mood, alertness, and relaxation.

XITE was born out of a desire for a better energy drink with added nootropics to help the mind.

How has the company performed during the pandemic?

Despite the circumstances, it was a great trip for us. The pandemic has prompted the company to evolve into a successful DTC business while maintaining our traditional B2B channels. We now have an incredibly loyal customer base who keep buying because they see the impact it’s having on them.

What can we expect from XITE Energy in the future?

We want to be synonymous with nootropics and keep screaming about the ingredient and its benefits. It’s a very new concept, but it’s important for us to continue to raise awareness and establish ourselves.
