Meet the Zenith: The Last City team behind the scenes at Unity in the new episode The Game Changers


with Zenith: The Last City After turning a new leaf after a big new round of funding, there hasn’t been much news since. However, there is a brand new video in the Unity series, The Game Changers, in which the Ramen VR team talks about Zenith’s creative process.

If you’re a fan of behind-the-scenes content, the design philosophy, or just want to learn about the teams responsible for making a game you enjoy, this video is worth a few minutes of your time.

The new video introduces the Ramen VR team and their process, how they decided to create a VR MMO in the first place, their philosophy and how they got started in the first place. Since this is a Unity video, they talk about using the engine and how the decision to use it helped speed up development. Overall, it’s a behind-the-scenes piece we haven’t gotten anything quite like this for zenith In front.

If you haven’t had a chance to get in yet zenith, (you can read our review here) there’s a look at some of the features, from early days when they could just run around the world, to building cooking, crafting, gliding, and even using audio to make it immersive to be sound. When someone approaches you, they will raise their voices, and how to address and greet someone nearby. The idea is to create a sense of realism but also a space that is fun and inclusive.

Continue working Zenith: The Last City goes on and the team grows. There is already a general roadmap for 2022 that includes some of what we can expect. The new round of funding opened the door to that growth, including work to create connected experiences based on zenith and translating the experience to non-VR platforms.
