Meghan and Harry apologize to Sun for Clarkson’s ‘PR stunt’ column

A spokesperson said: “The fact that The Sun has not yet contacted the Duchess of Sussex to apologize shows their intentions. This is nothing more than a PR stunt.

“While the public fully deserves the publication’s regret for their dangerous comments, we wouldn’t be in this situation if The Sun hadn’t continued to profit and exploit hate. violence and hatred of women. A real apology would be a change in their coverage and ethical standards for all people. Unfortunately, we are not holding our breath.”

The controversy comes after the recent six-part Netflix documentary about Harry and Meghan aired in which the couple made allegations of royal abuse.
