Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children are believed to be heading to London after leaving Los Angeles.
The California-based couple, who retired as frontline royals in 2020, will join members of The Firm to celebrate 70 years since the Queen’s coronation.
They are expected to join the column in London tomorrow – but are unlikely to appear on the balcony with working royals.
Instead, it is believed they will be watching as spectators, while Prince Andrew is not expected to be present at all.
It is the first time the 96-year-old monarch has met great-granddaughter Lilibet, who was named in her honor.
Harry and Meghan’s daughter turns one on Saturday and is making the trip with brother Archie, three.
Harry has been given a “cast-iron guarantee” that he will receive taxpayer-funded police protection after previously taking legal action against the Home Office.
It’s the first time Meghan has returned to the UK since the couple gave up royal life.
Since then, relations between them and the family have been strained, and in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, they leveled accusations of racism at an unnamed king.
The couple also claimed to have been financially cut off from Harry’s relatives, while the Duke of Sussex claimed Prince Charles and Prince William were “trapped” in their roles.
This morning, The Mirror reported that it’s still unclear which anniversary celebrations they’ll be attending – and if their young children will be there.
It is believed they will attend St Paul’s Cathedral’s Thanksgiving service on Friday and possibly the Jubilee competition on Sunday.
Celebrations begin tomorrow with Trooping the Color, but the Queen has ruled that only working family members will be allowed onto Buckingham Palace’s balcony for the traditional flyby.
A security source said MailOnline Prince Andrew, who recently reached an out-of-court settlement with sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre to avoid a court showdown, will not be present tomorrow.
Camera crews from Netflix, with whom the pair have a £100m production deal, followed them throughout the Invictus games.
But a source said: “There has been further contact between the Duke and members of his family but any talk of them planning to cause a scene or distract from the Queen’s celebrations is nonsense.
“They are here to see their family and enjoy what is undoubtedly an incredible moment in history.”
Meanwhile, other sources close to the couple said it was “ridiculous” to suggest they were bringing the Netflix cameras, adding, “They’re not even bringing a press team. It’s all very low key.
“Anyone who is hysterical needs to have a cup of tea and calm down.”
Their arrival in the UK comes after Harry received “cast-iron assurances” his family would be protected by special police officers if he lands in the UK today.
Harry and Meghan are due to fly in with their own personal security detail but will be the responsibility of the Metropolitan Police when they land.
It’s only the second time in more than two years that Meghan has returned to the UK since the couple dramatically ditched their royal roles in 2020.
