Prince Harry and Meghan “will come to an end,” says Trump

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the royal family was a disaster and they will need the couple for years to come, a royal author has claimed.

Former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown believes Harry will return to serve his country when the Queen dies.

However, she warns it won’t be easy as she claims Ms Meghan didn’t like England and believes she wants to step on the gas and not return.

Princess Diana’s biographer’s new book, The Palace Papers: Inside The House of Windsor – The Truth And The Turmoil, hits shelves today.

Appearing on the New York Times podcast Sway to promote her new release, Ms Brown says Megxit is a disaster for both parties.

The author says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would have made some “bad decisions” and could have left the royal family on far better terms if they hadn’t both been “hot-headed”.

She says Harry will be pushing to return in the future and expects he will be at the Queen’s Jubilee this summer to build bridges.

The writer said on the show: “I actually think there’s a Harry-shaped hole in the royal family now.

“I think Harry wants to come back when the Queen dies to serve his country. And I think they will find a way to capture him.

“Maybe they have a commuter arrangement but I don’t see Meghan ever wanting to go back. She didn’t like England.”

She added: “Harry was indeed loved by the British people. People adored Meghan when she got into the mix.

“So it was actually very, very sad for everyone that it went so wrong because they really need Harry and Meghan right now.

“The queen is failing and she is very frail. They kind of need Harry and Meghan to bring that star power and be on the balcony at the anniversary.

“We must have a royal family up there. We can’t have Andrew up there.”

She says Meghan and Harry seem “addicted to drama” and causing “maximum chaos”.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Ms Brown claimed they appeared “addicted to drama”.

The Duke, she said, appears to have been “completely and completely taken over by Meghan and his whole personality has changed.”

She added: “I wonder how it will end. Maybe he wakes up and realizes he lives in Goop and he needs to get the fuck out and go to the pub and see his friends.”
