Royal expert Richard Eden claims all is not well with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after Meghan Markle’s animated show was canceled and she appeared at Prince Harry’s recent polo event

A royal expert said there was “a bit of trouble” between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after their Netflix show was cancelled.

The Duchess of Sussex was pictured supporting her husband at a polo event in California after their animated series Pearl was cancelled.

As a result, specialists have claimed there is “not everything right” with the pair.

The news that Prince Harry’s memoir has also been delayed is believed to have increased tensions for royal expert Richard Eden, claims Richard Eden.

Speaking on the Palace Confidential podcast, he suggested the couple are “overextending themselves” with the ever-growing commitments they’ve made to maintain their celebrity status.

Richard said: “I feel like there’s really a little bit of trouble there.

“All these pictures have come up of Meghan showing up at polo, handing out trophies and stuff like that.”

“I remember writing about polo in the UK years ago that Meghan wasn’t very keen on Harry playing in polo matches unless it could be guaranteed that £1million would be raised for charity each time .

“She felt it was kind of beneath his dignity to play in matches that would only fetch a few thousand pounds if he were to go for the big ticket matches.

“But we got Meghan to show up at all of these events and present trophies just like she showed up at the Invictus Games and to me that’s an indication that things aren’t all right.”

Richard claims that the gig isn’t the norm for the pair – adding that in the past they’ve only attended significant events together.

The couple have attended a number of events before flying back to the UK to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend.

There have been concerns and growing speculation as to when Prince Harry will release his memoir, although the date has not yet been announced.

The expert adds: “A lot seems to be in flux, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the book were the same.”

On the same podcast, royal commentator Robert Hardman agreed with his counterpart.

He said: “I think it’s worth remembering that he likes to keep anything Prince Harry close to his chest, he likes to keep us guessing.

“I think a PR strategy is probably being worked out at the moment. I don’t think the book won’t come out, I just think we’ll have to wait.”

However, Robert accepted that the pair were now in business to frequently come up with new content ideas.

He added: “If you’re living the California dream, you have to keep coming up with new things, you have to be in the moment.

“Royalty is very different, so yes, they have to live their lives at a different pace.”
