Mel B asked Victoria Beckham to dress her and her mother for her MBE ceremony.
The singer is receiving an MBE for her commitment to supporting survivors and raising awareness of domestic abuse, she joined Women’s Aid in 2018 to help speak up for other women and support people who are experiencing domestic violence.
And now the singer and campaigner has revealed that her Spice Girls bandmate hopes to dress both herself and her mother before the ceremony, and she plans to wear it with friend as she attended the wedding of Victoria’s son, Brooklyn Beckham.

When asked if she’d talked to Victoria about her outfit, Mel told ITV’s Lorraine: “I actually asked her. I was leading my mom and so I said, ‘Mom yes Can I dress you and your mother?’ I’ll see her at her son’s wedding anyway. Yes Victoria, it’ll be great!”
“Maybe not something from the Spice Girls days… But you have to have a bit of leopard print in there, maybe a little leopard print shoe or something like that? Because you know, you have to have a nod,” Lorraine joked back.

However, Spice Girls fans will be disappointed to hear the group won’t be reunited for the Queen’s Platinum Year.
Speaking of the possibility, she explained to Lorraine Kelly: “We’d love to do it, but sadly I don’t think we’ll get into it, it’s not my decision but I do. will be there cheering.”
Mel has previously admitted that she had “mixed feelings” about being awarded the MBE.

“This has taken so long to instill as it means so much to me – more than anyone will know,” she said in a statement, “Those are mixed emotions. To go through. such dark times and then starting to step in lightly and speak out for myself and other women have been at times excruciatingly painful but also of unimaginable strength.
“I feel that I am accepting this award on behalf of all the women who have experienced – or gone through – abuse in all its forms and forms. I am grateful to be more than just a survivor. but also a platform to continue to speak out as a Patron of Women’s Aid.”
