Sporty Spice Mel C says she’s doing everything in her power to make the Spice Girls reunion happen.
top Ryan Tubridy on RTÉ’s The Late Late Show on Friday night, she hinted that the iconic ’90s group might get back together.
“We do [owe it to the people],” she speaks.
“I’m doing everything in my power to make it happen.”
The pop star joined Tubridy on the show to discuss her new memoir Who I am.
The book outlines her life as a superstar and how she struggled with some of the elements of becoming famous when the Spice Girls were at their peak.
She talked on the show about being heavily criticized in the media and how often she was pitted against other members of the group.
“One of the biggest things for us is the tabloid media,” she told Tubridy.
“The ’90s were brutal when it came to talking about women. Nothing can prepare you for that.
“People comment and criticize us all the time.
“We all achieved it in different ways. We were pitted against each other.
“It’s always like ‘Who’s your favorite’, ‘Who’s the best’, ‘Who’s the ugliest’, ‘Who’s the prettiest’, ‘Who’s the ugliest’. And just need to read that as a young person, it’s really cruel.”

When The Late Late Show The presenter asked the 49-year-old what was made of her in the media, and she said she was considered “unlovable”.
“I have my own problems and vulnerabilities,” she said.
“I’ve never dated anyone and if I do it’s very brief and it’s always like ‘They went with someone hotter’ and it was me who got dumped.”
“They just created the story of being a little sad, lonely, unable to love [person] and if you’ve said enough of that, you’ll start thinking about it. “
