Melanie Rodriguez and Aisha Aga have been promoted to VP at Better Noise Music

Melanie Rodriguez and Aisha Aga have been promoted to vice president of the indie label Better noise music.

Rodriguez has been named Vice President, Label Management while Aga has been promoted to VP, Internal Communications.

The label has also welcomed Trish Sterling as senior label manager.

Rodriguez has been with the label since 2019, most recently as Sr. Director of Marketing.

In her new role, Rodriguez will lead some of the company’s key projects, it said.

She has worked on marketing campaigns for artists such as AWOLNATION, rock/hip hop artist Hyro The Hero, country rock name Cory Marks and California alternative reggae act Dirty Heads.

Rodriguez will oversee the release of a new album by three-time GRAMMY nominees NOTHING MORE and the official soundtrack for Better Noise Films’ horror thriller THE RETALIATORS.

THE RETALIATORS is slated for a theatrical release this fall, along with the accompanying soundtrack, which features music by Five Finger Death Punch, Bad Wolves, Nothing More, All Good Things, Ice Nine Kills and British band Asking Alexandria, who have signed to BNM in 2021.

Aga joined the company in 2021 and led the board office of the CEO and Founder Allen Kovac.

Since joining the company, Aga has played a key role in organizing company-wide initiatives related to priority marketing efforts, and she will work to streamline the company’s internal workflows and people processes in her new role.

Trish Sterling previously held positions at Roc Nation, DefJam and downtown music before joining Better Noise in February.

Sterling will oversee major upcoming projects for BNM, including a 2022 album by rock band Five Finger Death Punch and a 2022 album by Mongolian rock band The HU.
