Micah Richards brutally beat up Thierry Henry arsenal The legend’s fashion choices while appearing as pundits on CBS Sports.

The duo is part of the American television network’s team of experts for the Champions League, alongside Jamie Carragher. They appeared on Tuesday night for the second leg of Liverpool’s semi-finals collide with villa real.

The trio have been regular panelists for CBS’s Champions League coverage throughout this season and have earned a reputation for their light-hearted approach. Usually, this lighter approach doesn’t extend to their attire, as the pros tend to wear full suits with ties.

That all changed on Tuesday, however, when Henry walked into the studio in a brown plaid shirt but no tie. Richards, meanwhile, wore a blue three-piece suit with a tie, while Carragher wore a black suit, with Henry looking like the underdog.

Richards took little time to poke fun at the Arsenal legend’s fashion choices. When Henry was introduced by Kate Abdo, he was asked, “Casual Friday on a Tuesday is it Thierry?” by the presenter.

Claiming that his decision to go tieless was due to simple forgetfulness, Henry said: “Casual Friday because I don’t know where my tie is. I have to be honest.” That wasn’t something Richards was willing to accept, however.

the previous Manchester City star brought up Henry’s induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame to bring down his fellow pundits. Richards interrupted Henry to joke, “Honestly, Hall of Famers are going to your head.”

Henry did Fire back to Richards poking fun at the fact that his former side face real Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final match tomorrow. The Frenchman said: “No, tomorrow is a big game. Let’s see how easy it is for you tomorrow.”

Henry was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside Alan Shearer in April 2021, with the duo becoming the first two to become members. At the time, the Gunners legend admitted he was proud of receiving the honor.

“To be inducted into the as the first two recruits alongside Alan Shearer First League Hall of Fame is more than something special. When I was young I was just trying to make sure I could get a pair of boots and now let’s talk Hall of Fame. Throughout my career I’ve wanted to play hard and make sure I fight for the cause because that’s all the fans want to see,” he said.

Liverpool secured their place in their third Champions League final since Jurgen Klopp took charge in a thrilling game at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Villarreal had left them shocked with goals from Boulaye Dia and Francois Coquelin in the first half.

But Klopp brought in Luis Diaz at half-time, a move that turned the game completely upside down. Fabinho restored Liverpool’s lead just after the hour mark before Diaz all but secured his side’s place in Paris and Sadio Mane secured the win.
