Alison Hammond was delighted on Tuesday’s This Morning, when she was able to duet with singer Michael Buble again.
She’s not alone, though, as this time co-host Phillip Schofield joined them to perform in a pre-recorded clip.
Phil is not one to explode the song on live TV, he reminded co-host Holly Willoughby when they shared a recorded clip last week.
Singer Buble goes into the studio to catch up and sing along, having been unable to do so for the past two years due to the pandemic.
As the star discussed new music, upcoming tour and family life, he also revealed it all by the time he received a phone call from music legend Sir Paul McCartney.
But Alison, who has met Buble before, can’t wait to sing with the star again after their hilarious duet earlier.
This time, all three sang Nat King Cole’s LOVE – but Michael made a mistake in the song.
Of course this was a joke of his, and he fooled Alison and drove her into a frenzy by saying the wrong letters.
When he swapped the ‘E’ with the ‘G’, he claimed it was accidental and he couldn’t spell it, while the amused Phil and Alison immediately saw it.
They continued to sing the song with him, all with a different line before duet together at the end.
Speaking of duets, Buble revealed all about his collaboration with The Beatles legend McCartney.
He said: “Sir Paul’s management wrote to me and said he understood that I was making a record… he called and he said, ‘Hi, I’m Paul Mac ‘.
“The first thing that popped into my head, I said, ‘Hi, that’s Mike Bubs.’ What a lovely, likable man.”
Alison soon flirted with the show’s guest again, and joked that she didn’t want to hear that he and his wife were expecting their fourth child.
She told him he “looked fine” and that his company in the studio was “electric”, while she added that she felt sad that he hadn’t asked her to show up. on his new album.
He told the hosts: “It’s nice to sit down like this, it’s comfortable and happy. I think the audience, they feel it.”
“My recording should have been released a few months ago, but I declined… I need this. Zoom calls – great, but it’s not the same as sitting with everyone and connected with spirits.”
When he returned to touring, he joked, “I need the money too! It’s been a long time, I miss the people in front of me… I also miss my people, my beautiful band and the crew mine – same crew, same person.
“And did I talk about the money? My wife has a problem with Amazon – I don’t even know what she’s ordering. It just shows up and I say, ‘What’s that?’ And she said, ‘I don’t know, it’s a big box today.’
As for what fans can expect from the tour, he added: “Love, joy – a really happy guy to be out there.
“My family has been through a lot – everyone knows that. It hasn’t been easy. My son is healthy, my children are well, I am in a place where the universe comes to me and me. was able to really express myself. just being grateful, happy, living and breathing.”
This morning airs at 10 a.m. weekdays on ITV.
