Michael Bublé in Hove: everything you need to know

MICHAEL BUBLE will be on stage in Hove tonight as part of his highly anticipated tour.

He is performing at the County Cricket Ground on Eaton Road for just one night while continuing his ‘An Evening With Michael Bublé’ tour.

He was originally scheduled to perform locally in 2020, then 2021, but both dates were canceled due to the Covid pandemic.

Here’s everything you need to know before the show:

when to arrive

The gates for guests in the hospitality industry open from 3:30 p.m., the general admission gates open at 4:00 p.m.

Due to the expected large number of fans, the floor has urged people to be there no later than 6 p.m.

What gates to use

Spectators should report at the barrier assigned to them on their ticket. There are three gates serving the ground:

Gate 1 – Eaton Rd

Gate 2 – Palmeira Avenue

Gate 3 – Located between Sussex Court Flats and Ajex Hall on Eaton Road, east of Gate 1

how to get there

There are no parking spaces available for the concert, so it is recommended that you use public transport if possible.

There is a public car park, Norton Road Car Park (BN3 3BE), a short walk west of the cricket ground, opposite Hove Town Hall (charges apply between 8am and 8pm).

Hove Station is a ten minute walk from the ground. Viewers may exit the station and head south at Goldstone Villas, then left at the end of the road onto Eaton Road.

Cross the drive and continue along Eaton Road. The cricket ground is on the left.

There are regular train services from Brighton Station to Hove Station. There is also a taxi rank outside Brighton Station, along with a bus station.

The number 7 bus passes the north end (Cromwell Road) of the site and has several stops at ground level.

This service is the George Street, Hove to Brighton Marina service and serves both Hove and Brighton stations. This bus runs approximately every ten minutes.

Lines 21 and 21A from Brighton Marina to Goldstone Valley stop outside the main entrance to the site. These are less frequent but run through the central areas of Hove and Brighton.

Bag Policy

Viewers are encouraged to ensure they travel light.

Each person is only allowed to take one bag no larger than A3 (35 cm x 40 cm x 19 cm).

Larger bags will not be allowed into the venue and there will be no baggage screening for larger bags.

to eat and drink

Guests are not allowed to take food and drink into the ground, with the exception of a 500ml water bottle, but the bottle must be unopened and the seal clearly unbroken. There are several free gas stations around the ground.

There are a number of food and beverage units on-site, serving a range of food alongside alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Cashless Venue

The site is a cashless venue so please plan accordingly.

The concert is expected to end between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. People are asked to follow instructions from law enforcement officers who are on site to guide them to the exits.
