Michael Jordan on his son’s relationship with Larsa Pippen

Michael Jordan may I don’t think his son’s relationship with reality TV star Larsa Pippen is a hit.

The NBA legend recently appeared to express some dismay at his son Marcus Jordan’s relationship with Pippen Video published by TMZ On Monday.

In the clip, Jordan can be seen leaving a restaurant when a paparazzi asks what he thinks of his son’s relationship. Jordan appears to be laughing. The photographer presses and asks if Jordan is okay with the romance.

“NO!” Jordan is heard saying as he gets into a vehicle.

The Hall of Famer’s reaction comes as a surprise, as Pippen previously said her boyfriend’s famous parents are “happy” with their relationship.

The Real Housewives of Miami star said during a performance on the Tamron Hall show in February that Marcus’ parents were “fine” and that the two were fighting.

“When you grow up, I think all your parents want is for you to be happy,” she said. “My parents want to see me happy, his parents want to see him happy.”

Pippen also said at the time that she spent the holidays with Marcus’ family.

Some people found the couple’s romance shocking, given the intertwined history of the Pippen and Jordan families.

The reality star married Scottie Pippen in 1997 and divorced him in 2021. They share four children. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were a legendary NBA duo during the Chicago Bulls dynasty in the 1990s. However, they have each spoken publicly in recent years about their strained relationship.

Pippen defended her relationship with Marcus during their visit to Tamron Hall, saying the two had only met a few years prior, contrary to what many people on social media were speculating.

Pippen, 48, also addressed her age difference with Marcus, 32. “I feel like age doesn’t really determine maturity,” she said.

Last month, on an episode of their podcast Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan by iHeartPodcasts, Pippen and Marcus discussed their thoughts on having kids one day.

Pippen said she’s “open to maybe having another kid.”

“Sometimes I get baby fever, I’m not going to lie,” Marcus said. “That’s something I think we need to discuss at some point.”

The couple made their relationship official on Instagram in January.
