The rocker notes that their relationship is “fueled by music,” but as a human being, he finds Styles “extremely kind and caring” and says he’s attracted to him. his lack of ego despite the fame he is experiencing.
Fleetwood added that he “loved every moment” of filming the Satisfy campaign, set at his home in Maui, Hawaii.
He explained that he joined the campaign because he felt it was an experience that provoked people to think “why not” and allowed individuals to express themselves.
“When I think about what happened in my generation, we have a sense of freedom, the feeling that what happened before doesn’t need to be repeated. Millions of people in my world, our generation, have seen it, felt it,” added Fleetwood.
“But imagine the 60s right now with social media. One could be so bold as to say that everyone’s slightly naive fantasy can spread like wildfire.
“Reminded of that premise, I think there are a lot of similarities now that begs the question, ‘Why not? What gives you the right to shut me down? ‘
“It is not confrontation. It’s just, why would you want to do that to anyone or anything? In our day, if someone went to a concert with blue paint all over their face, you would ask: ‘How great is that?’ You will not say one thing or another.
“That’s how I’ve always felt. Don’t judge and have fun with it. That is what Satisfaction represents”.
