Former Republic of Ireland football captain and manager Mick McCarthy will appear alongside Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show tonight alongside rugby legend Andrew Porter in aid of Daffodil Day.
cCarthy was Ireland’s captain at Italia ’90 and was on the sidelines in our infamous last World Cup adventure 20 years ago. The former manager will be on the couch with Tubridy on Friday night in support of Daffodil Day.
McCarthy will also speak about the loss of both of his parents to cancer and the lasting mark they both left on his life.
Ireland and Leinster pro Andrew Porter will also appear on tonight’s show. Porter has decided to shave his head live on air to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society on Daffodil Day.
Porter sadly lost his mother, Wendy, to cancer when he was just 12 years old.
With his own show on Golf Channel on NBC and hundreds of millions of views online, impressionist comedian Conor Moore will appear on Friday’s show with his interpretation of a range of famous Irish characters.
Extraordinary mentalist Keith Barry will mesmerize the audience with some illusions and hypnotic experiences.
Ballinteer native Andrew Fitzsimons is back, after toiling the locks of JLO, the Kardashian family, Bella Hadid and Megan Fox, to now launch his own independent haircare range.
Fitzsimons will talk about how he went from being a lonely teenager eating his lunch in the school toilet to a speed dial phone for some of the world’s most successful women in entertainment.
Tubridy will also meet Amy Dunne, who, aged just 17, became embroiled in one of Irish society’s most contentious debates when she went to court to demand the right to travel to the UK for a termination after her baby became a fatal one diagnosed fetal abnormality.
