Microsoft will not block a potential Activision Blizzard Union

Microsoft has said it “will not stand in the way” of a potential Activision Blizzard union if one is recognized.

As reported by The Washington Post, Lisa Tanzi, Microsoft’s corporate vice president and general counsel, shared the company’s stance on these unions, which could potentially happen before the Xbox-Activision-Blizzard deal closes in 2023.

“Microsoft respects the right of Activision Blizzard employees to choose whether to be represented by a workers’ organization, and we will respect those choices,” Tanzi said.
