Miley Cyrus says catching Covid-19 on world tour was ‘definitely worth it’

Miley Cyrus has revealed she has tested positive for Covid-19 after a string of international tour dates, but says it was “definitely worth it”.
The singer admitted meeting “hundreds of fans a day” made the chances of contracting the virus “quite high” when she broke the news on Twitter.
Cyrus recently performed at venues across South America including Chile, Argentina, Brazil ahead of the release of her new album, Attention: Miley Live, which was released on Friday.
“Travelling (sic) around the world, playing (sic) for 100,000 people a night and meeting hundreds of fans a day, the chances of getting Covid are pretty good
up,” she wrote online.
“I have Covid now but it was definitely worth it… I’m fine so don’t worry about me!”
She said the positive test means she can no longer attend a charity event for the Janie’s Fund organization and apologized to its founder Steven
Tyler.
Covid-19 wasn’t the only danger Cyrus faced on tour, having previously revealed her plane had been struck by lightning en route to Paraguay’s Asuncionico festival.
The plane had to make an emergency landing and the festival was later canceled due to extreme weather conditions.

She should also be on the bill at the Estereo Picnic Festival alongside the Foo Fighters.
After Taylor Hawkins’ death, she dedicated her show to the drummer and shared memories of him on social media.
