GMAIL is one of the world’s largest email services with billions of users.

But did you know that your account could be banned for violating some very simple rules?

Make sure you know them well the next time you log in.

Sending too many emails

Believe it or not, there is actually a limit to the number of emails you can send.

However, it is very high, so most of us don’t have to worry.

Trying to send an email to hundreds of people at once can set off alarm bells on Google.

That’s because it’s a sign of a spammer.

The tech giant warns you, saying, “You’ve reached a limit for sending emails.”

This appears when you try to send an email to more than 500 recipients in a single email and/or more than 500 emails in a day.

Luckily you won’t get banned for long.

According to Google, you should be able to start sending emails again within 1 to 24 hours.

But if you keep making this mistake, you could risk a more permanent ban.

Sending too much email to addresses that don’t exist

Similar to the previous one, sending too many emails to addresses that no longer exist is another red flag.

Again, this is another indication of a spammer, as they tend to send out tons of emails at once without caring if the addresses are active or not.

So if you send too many emails to inactive addresses, resulting in a bonce-back message, you could also be mistaken for a spammer.

However, you must send some to trigger alarms.

However, it’s a good idea to double-check the email address you’re sending to.

According to Google, you may be able to send email again after 24 hours.

Send illegal

It goes without saying that sending illegal content can get your account banned.
