Millions have been warned to check Google Chrome NOW amid an urgent cyberattack alert

GOOGLE has released an update for Chrome after uncovering four security issues classified as “high” risk.
Experts raised the alarm about a total of seven errors, which the tech giant has now fixed.
Google has not disclosed the exact nature of the bugs to avoid making it easier for hackers.
It usually shows more once enough people have updated Chrome and are therefore considered safe.
According to the US Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Agency (CISA), the flaws meant an attacker could “exploit to take control of an affected system.”
Users have been urged to update to the latest version – 102.0.5005.115 – immediately to avoid becoming victims.

The update should download automatically the next time you close Chrome.
But you can force it now by opening Settings and going to About Chrome section.
“Access to bug details and links may remain restricted until a majority of users have been updated with a fix,” the company said.
“We also want to thank all of the security researchers who worked with us throughout the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel.”
Independent experts are paid by Google to catch bugs early, before bad actors can exploit them.
It comes after researchers foil one Record number of serious problems used by hackers on Chrome in the last year.
This includes the powerful cyber weapon used for spying Boris Johnson’s computer network.
The shocking figure is the highest since the tech company launched a hacker-wiping out program in 2014.
This more than doubles the previous record from 2015.
