Millions of Android owners could cut ‘vampire bills’ – how to save money

ANDROID phone owners may unknowingly pay out every single money without realizing it.
These so-called “vampire bills” are easy to find and crush if you wish.
If you’re trying to save a bit of cash, it’s definitely worth checking out.
We’re talking subscriptions that might be silently draining cash from your bank.
Maybe you weren’t aware that you still have the app subscription running.
Or maybe a rogue app tricked you into signing up for something — and now you’re being silently charged.
How to find Android app subscriptions
First unlock your Android phone and then launch Google Play Store.
Then tap on Account and then go to the Payment & Subscriptions section.
You can now tap on any subscription you want to unsubscribe and select Unsubscribe.
The Google Play Store will then guide you through the cancellation process.
“Subscriptions on Google Play will automatically renew unless you cancel,” Google explained.
“If you cancel a subscription, you can continue to use your subscription for the time already paid for.”
That means you won’t lose any subscribed time you’ve paid for.
For example, if you buy a 12-month subscription on January 1st and then cancel on July 1st, you can keep what you paid for until December 31st.
This will also cancel the automatic renewal.
From January 1st, you will no longer pay if you have already cancelled.
However, once the subscription expires, you (unsurprisingly) lose access to the paid perks.
Make sure to check your subscriptions regularly to make sure you’re not paying out when you shouldn’t.
