Millions of WhatsApp users are getting a huge app change — and it’s so handy

ANDROID WhatsApp users may notice something different very soon.
The popular messaging app is preparing a brand new look for the camera mode.
Leaked screenshots show a slight overhaul of the onboard camera interface.
Photo and video modes have been completely separated to make things easier.
Right now everything is in one place, so you have to tap to take a photo or hold to capture.
But as some users have noticed, it can be a bit cumbersome to record a video this way.

So, with this new approach, you can press record once without holding down the button.
The change was first spotted by WABetaInfo.
Early testers have played with it, but there’s no word on when it will launch as a full public release.
As with many of the leaked new features, they may not fully launch at all.
We have to wait.
Follow our guide below to get all new WhatsApp features first.
