‘Minimalist’ central bank is not doing enough to stop whistleblowers, says Labor spokesman Ged Nash

The central bank has been criticized for taking a “minimalist approach” to its legal obligations to publish an annual single-page whistleblower report.

The report on protected disclosures was published on the central bank’s website on Monday and said regulators had received 231 whistleblower reports from employees in the financial services industry in the past year – plus one from a central bank employee.
