FORMER Neighborhood star Miranda Fryer has died aged 34.
Her devastated family says that the actress – who played Sky Mangel on the show as a child – “passed away in her sleep”.
In a statement posted online, her heartbroken loved ones described her as “beautiful inside and out”.
“Real soulmates, Miranda and Arthur (Pothitis) are planning to start their family, when one day last week she went to bed and never woke up. The girl’s family said.
“She has some health issues with her heart, perhaps her beautiful personality is too good for this world of ours.
“All of us, who loved her so much, will cherish the memories she left us and mourn our loss forever.
“A beautiful child, a beautiful teenager, beautiful inside and out… a woman, with so much love and happiness given and received. So many friends, so much still to offer this world, are gone. “
Miranda’s family confirmed TV tonight which the former Neighbors star passed away on January 6.

Miranda began playing Sky – the on-screen daughter of Joe Mangel, played by Mark Little, and Kerry Bishop, played by Linda Hartley-Clark – at the age of 18 months in 1989 for a period of three years.
The character was later reintroduced in 2003 as a teenager, played by Stephanie McIntosh.
Miranda studied to be a nurse and will begin a graduate position at Monash Hospital in the neuroscience department in February after just completing her degree.
In November 2020, she married her partner Arthur Pothitis.
Her mother, real-life Traci Hunter, hailed her as “the most wonderful daughter” in a heartbreaking tribute.
She told Herald Sun: “She had so much love and passion for life.
“She’s a really nice lover, almost too good to be true – she’s obviously too good to be true because she was taken away by us too soon.”
