Boxers from the Hardcore FC promotion in Russia were waiting to take to the stage for a press conference promoting an upcoming event when a game holdover ended putting one person to sleep.

Russian MMA fighters taking part in the Hardcore FC promotion got a little more than they asked for when a behind-the-scenes joke went wrong during a recent press conference.
Like an ongoing event to promote their upcoming duel when a boxer known as ‘Venom’ decided to put fighter Yuriy Chernyshev in a suffocation in the background, it seemed all was fun. But when the other fighters started to notice what was going on, they ran to the backstage area where it looked like the stunt had gone too far.
In the end, the Russian player knocked his opponent unconscious, leading to a skirmish at the venue involving other boxers who tried to stop him. It didn’t take long for Chernyshev to get to his feet, where he was greeted by another boxer, who appeared to be Georgian Zalimkhan Yusupov trying to pull the same stunt.
But he managed to escape a second suffocation, and ended up entangled in a small handbag with security breaking a possible fight. Tensions appeared to have cooled down when Chernyshev was approached by Yusupov as an apology, if slightly violent.
Hardcore FC is known for its quirky press conferences and boxer antics, with Tuesday’s events being no different when security was needed to get Chernyshev out of the building. It follows a similar press conference last month where punches were thrown between boxers.

Hardcore FC, who film their events in the style of a reality TV show, organized a conference to promote matches between, among many names, Umar Tesiev and Sergey Kiselev. At the event, the pair wasted no time in trading with an altercation that broke out when Tesiev was pushed by Kiselev. He continued to attack, punching his opponent, who then dropped to shoot down the opponent with one foot.
The ad seems to have millions of fans Russia and abroad, with over 923,000 subscribers to their YouTube channel and another 213,000 on Instagram. They hold regular events, and just had a match against Chernyshev last Thursday, where he lost to his car smelly naked behind.
