One mother shared how she created a stunning flower wall using £14 boards from eBay.
Samantha McLintock, 31, a mother of two from Hartlepool was inspired by a similar design she saw by the Loose Women star Stacey Solomon.
After doing some searching online, she found £14 flower boards on eBay and Create your own flower mural instead of hiring an expert.
Other wall panels she has appear to cost £30 each – meaning she saved around 50% by shopping around.
Samantha already has two boys but wanted a room that was girly when her first daughter was born in four weeks.

She told Facebook Coporation, group Do it yourself on a budget in the UK : “We initially saw the idea of Stacey Solomon Instagram because she finished something similar and we loved it.
“We’ve spent months researching online and trying to find the cheapest flowers we could as prices exceed £30 a piece.
“Then we ended up finding one on ebay for around £14 per console. The panels were only 30cm x 40cm so we ended up needing 30 in total. ”
Samantha spent a total of £392 for £30 but was delighted with the results.
She uses a staple gun to attach the flower panels to the wall and says it’s more effective than using pins, as they keep coming loose.

“If I were to give you any advice, it would be to explore your crazy ideas,” she says.
“We were laughed at by a lot of people when we said we wanted a full flower wall because they all said it was a very ambitious idea.
“We think it’s come together so lovingly and being on the moon the way it’s been.
“We absolutely loved it and are so glad we took the risk and bought them. Everyone told us not to do it but I’m very happy with it.”
