A mother shared the hilarious moment when her three-year-old daughter managed to get her head stuck in a toilet seat.
Amy Sanderson had to take three-year-old Ivy-Anne Bingham to A&E after she tried to use her pink seat and got out with it around her neck.
The tot is potty training and went to the bathroom while her mum prepared dinner at their home in Plymouth, Devon.
At first glance, Amy said she thought the seat would just slide off and tried to free her daughter, she reported PlymouthLive.
But when that failed, they had to drive to Derriford Hospital, where it took doctors just over an hour to remove it.
Amy, a healthcare worker at Blue Bird Care, described Ivy as a fun and strong-willed little girl who always makes her family laugh.

“My first reaction when I saw her with the toilet seat on her head was ‘that’s fine, I’ll take it off.’
“But after judging it, I realized, however I put it, it didn’t happen.
“I tried to take it off and just couldn’t. It was on her ears, on her chin, so I was like, ‘I have to take her to the hospital’.”
Amy saw the funny side of having to carry her toddler from the parking lot to the emergency room with the toilet seat still taped to her head.
“It was raining and the toilet seat was upside down and the rain started, so I kept having to tip them sideways to drain the water,” she continued.

“When I got to the front desk, I thought, ‘I hope you’re not asking me why I’m here because I’m holding a child with a toilet seat on my head.’
“Ivy was playing in the children’s ward in the ER and the more I look at the photos, the more amusing I find it to see her playing with a toilet seat on her head. Honestly brilliant.”
The mother said it took three people to remove the seat around Ivy’s head, holding her and covering her eyes to prevent anything from going inside.
Once it was removed, Amy said the boy was doing “absolutely fine.”
She added: “They were so good in there and they could see I needed help as it took three people to hold them and cover their eyes to take them off.
“But then she was absolutely fine. They laughed and without them I would still be a kid with a toilet seat on my head.
“Ivy never has a dull moment, she does so many things that make us all laugh – she’s so funny, strong willed and such a character.”
