Mom offers the passenger £500 to accompany her on a 23 hour flight

A mum has offered a passenger £500 to take her on a 23-hour flight – but there’s a BIG catch.

The distraught mother of three needs help looking after her four-year-old, two-year-old and two-month-old child on her Malaysian Airlines flight from London to Sydney on June 12.

In a Facebook post Monday, the savvy mum listed her requirements.

She wrote: “Type of things you might help with: holding the baby so I can help the older girls, helping the four and two year olds with their meals, entertaining four and two year olds – puzzles, books, TV and headphones sort etc.

“Maybe leave the baby in the carrier for a nap too so I can help/pay attention to the older girls.”

The future traveler is hoping to pass the money – equivalent to £21 an hour’s wages – to someone who already had a ticket on the flight.

“Whenever the older girls are asleep you don’t have to do anything and even when they’re awake I’m glad they watch as much TV as they like,” she wrote.

“All you have to do then is make sure the headphones don’t fall off, put on the next film, etc. I’ll do as much as I can too, but I also have to take care of the baby.”

The mum said her older girls had been on a long-haul flight to the UK back in November and were “behaving and sleeping fairly well”.

The four-year-old slept ten hours and the two-year-old eight, she said.

“But now I have an extra child and will not have my husband with me.

“Let me know if you’re interested or know someone who might be.”

It didn’t take long for others to spot the ad.

“I would love this job! I wish I would go to England – I hope you find someone,” one person wrote.

“Can’t help but sorry but good luck,” said another.

“You’ll probably find people on the flight who will help, even staff,” suggested a third.

“If you can’t find anyone with $1000 cash in their pocket when you come to check in at the airport and see if you can find someone on the same flight,” suggested a fourth.

“Call Malaysia Airline and see if they offer assistance, I’m sure.”
