Real Talk – Getting your baby to sleep when they should sleep sometimes feels like an impossible task.
One in which the parents unfortunately often seem to do worse.
You desperately want your baby to fall asleep before waking you up in the middle of the night. You haven’t slept well since your baby was born, and you’re really starting to suffer from it.
So much has been written about the supposed pros and cons of how to reassure your little angel and it can be really difficult to find a viable method that works well for you and your baby.
So if you’ve been driven out of desperation to try literally anything, you might want to take a leaf out of this mom’s book.
In a video originally uploaded to Facebook by French magazine Pour Nous Femmes, a mother chose a rather cute way to put her baby to sleep.
The hypnotic method really works and the little one fell asleep in less than a minute – magical!

Very simple: During a baby massage, the mother strokes the baby’s head in circular movements.
At first, the baby seems to resist his mother’s efforts to lure him to sleep, but soon his eyelids begin to droop – much to the relief of the adults in the room.
If you’re really pressed for time, another clever parent pulled it off in just ten seconds.
Other parents are taking to social media to share their tips on how to get their baby to sleep quickly.
One wrote: “My wife and I put our 3 month old boy Seth to sleep in less than a minute with nothing but a piece of tissue paper.”
The tissue paper trick is to place a clean piece of tissue paper over baby’s face until they are sound asleep.
According to another dad, it’s as easy as rubbing a baby’s eyebrows — count us among them!
Gently rubbing the baby’s eyebrows apparently puts the baby into a very deep sleep. That sounds like another quick win to us.
Other parents recommend things like light, repetitive motions, like rocking or swinging, or even soft music or quiet sounds from a white noise machine or app.
They all sound like ideas we’d love to try! Anything for an extra hour of sleep, to be honest…
