A mom has shared a life-changing hack that promises to banish painful migraines with nothing but a plastic pen, so you don’t have to rely on painkillers and dark rooms

Anyone who has ever suffered from migraines will tell you that they are a lot worse than just a headache. They can be completely debilitating, causing nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and noise, and there’s often nothing you can do about it.
Migraines often come out of the blue, meaning there is very little you can do to prepare for them, and many sufferers report that painkillers make little to no difference.
But during 190 thousand migraine It’s estimated that attacks are happening every day in the UK, a mum has shared a little-known hack that could banish the uncomfortable symptoms, RSVP Magazine reports.
Elizabeth Hayes from Indiana kindly shared her tip Facebookwhich explains that instead of strong painkillers and a cool, dark room, all you need is a plastic clothespin.

Hayes explained, “That chip clip saved my life tonight. I had a migraine attack almost twelve hours ago and about an hour ago it was at an unbearable level. I had used up all my meds and tricks I normally use to relieve my migraines to no avail.”
A faster one Google Searching turned up something called Aculief, but when Elizabeth spotted a hook on her counter, Elizabeth decided that would work just as well.
She added, “Within a minute I had some relief and within twenty my pain was reduced by half!”
It didn’t take long for others to say that this trick – or something similar – had worked for them.
