More than half of Britons have spring holidays planned – and UK holidays reign supreme

According to Tripadvisor, holidays are on the cards for more than half of UK holidaymakers this spring.

More than half of Britons are planning a holiday this spring according to Tripadvisor – and UK Holidays is proving to be the first choice of vacationers.

New research from the travel website has found that 54 per cent of Britons are planning to travel between March and May, with more than a third even taking time for multiple trips.

The most popular travel dates are March 11 and March 31, with destinations like Florida and the Maldives attracting the attention of sun seekers.

However, despite the balmier climate’s lure, one place to stay continues to be a definite favorite with Brits booking holidays; in fact, more than three-quarters of UK holidaymakers said they would be traveling in the UK this spring.

While there are a few destinations that are always favorites among holidaymakers, such as Devon and Cornwall, Tripadvisor research has uncovered a few Emerging UK holiday hotspots for 2022with the two Welsh villages of Brithdir and Llanberis right next to Snowdonia National Park taking the top spots in the ranking.
