A car with a blown tire was cleared from the M50.
Motorists have been warned of an “extremely dangerous” incident on the M50 where a car broke down after a punctured tyre.
According to Live Drive, gardaí were on hand at the J12 Firhouse, blocking the left lane to protect the driver and helping him change a wheel.
Separately, there was a collision this morning on the M50 southbound between J03 and J04, with motorists being advised to be aware of the incident.
A collision also occurred on the M7 at junction nine northbound and delays were expected.
Both the Red Line Luas and the Southbound Darts were also affected by technical issues this morning.
Luas said in an update: “Please note that Red Line services are operating with delays due to an electrical fault last night. Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Meanwhile, some northbound Dart services were operating at reduced capacity due to a so-called “technical issue”.
She later added that the Bray/Howth train would depart Connolly at 7.55am and consequently the Howth/Bray train would depart Connolly at 9.20am.
