Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind: Everything We Know So Far

If you’re a “Mortal Kombat” fan, you’ll be happy to know there’s an upcoming sequel to the animated movies “Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge” and “Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.” The new movie called “Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind”, is another title. IGN revealed the film’s cast and synopsis.

This is roughly the 30th anniversary of the original title from Midway Games and NetherRealm Studios, which is due out on October 8, 2022. There have been nine games in the franchise, with the most recent being “Mortal” Kombat 11.” It came out in 2019 and is still extremely playable, in my humble opinion. However, the games almost seem secondary compared to the countless live-action movies, cartoons, comic books, music, card games, etc.

“Mortal Kombat” is a violent, raw, and wonderful series that doesn’t take itself too seriously. There are very graphic Fatalities, things called Babalities where you can turn a character into a child, in jokes, previously hidden characters are a thing (look at you, Jade), and lots of it. blood. It was a pleasure. Let’s take a look at all the new information about “Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind”.

What we think Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind will talk about

IGN reports that Kano is doing everything about him (as he always does) in the new movie. He is ready to take over Earthrealm and is destroying towns with three Black Dragon mercenaries. Kenshi, a playable character in the game, is a blind swordsman from Japan in Earthrealm. However, he was not ready to surrender to Kano. This seems to be the origin story of how young and undisciplined Kenshi lost his sight, as the website states that the blinding occurred when Kano and the mercenaries attacked him. Kuai Liang, who is now retired, decides to train Kenshi, despite his doubts. You might know him by another name: Sub-Zero, one of the game’s original fighters.

This sounds really exciting, and we’ll also see characters like Shang Tsung, Kabal, Kobra, and Tremor, which fans who are obsessed with the series’ lore will be delighted.

“Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind” is directed and produced by Rick Morales, returning from the first two animated films in the series. Writer Jeremy Adams is back after giving us scripts for those titles.

The voice actors for this movie are pretty cool. Manny Jacinto (“The Good Place”) voices the lead role of Kenshi, along with David Wenham, who played Faramir in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, voicing everyone’s favorite Kano character. Ron Yuan, who voices Scorpion in “Mortal Kombat 11,,” will play Kuai Liang/Sub-Zero. Keith Silverstein (Vector in the game “Sonic the Hedgehog”) is Kabal. Courtenay Taylor (Jack in the game “Mass Effect”) will play Kira. Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke Uchiha in “Naruto”) will voice Kobra. Artt Butler (Captain Ackbar in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, and Shang Tsung and Cyrax in the two most recent “Mortal Kombat” cartoons) will voice Shang Tsung and Lin Kuei. Imari Williams (Boulder in “Transformers: Rescue Bots”) is the voice of Tremor.

Additional voice actors include Patrick Seitz, Lei Yin, Sumalee Montano, Debra Wilson, and Keston John.
