A MUM collapsed and died while on a video call to work in front of horrified colleagues who were watching their daughter try to save her.
Nicola Madden, 43, was talking to her colleague when she suddenly fell ill at her home in Waterloo, Liverpool.
Nine-year-old daughter Charlotte ran to her aid and called her father Stuart McDougall to help her mother.
But sadly the civil servant, who had celebrated her birthday the day before, had passed away.
It is thought she suffered a heart attack on January 11, with a tribute paid to her “popular” mother.
Nicola’s ex-partner Stuart told ECHO: “She was famous. She had a very good social life.
“If you look at GoFundMe or any online content, you’ll see that there’s a lot of feedback.
“She has touched so many people. I have been with her for almost 20 years, we have a nine-year-old daughter.

“We broke up but we’re still very good friends. Most don’t even have that luxury. Even so, it’s still painful. No one can say bad things about her.
“You don’t meet that many people now. She’s worked in many places for many years so a lot of people from all different workplaces have come and said how much they miss her. “
Stuart established a GoFundMe page in Nicola’s memory, raised more than £6,000 in just 24 hours.
He added: “Someone put in £500 yesterday. It was a business that made 500 pounds. It was a company affiliated with where she used to work.
“It’s a workplace that puts money in like that. I don’t even think she actually works for them.
“It will do a lot of things for funerals.”
“It’s hard to put into words. She’s just a good character that everyone is nice and really loves.”
