A mother of four has hit back at the negativity online, as she says it’s hard to coach four kids at once – especially when they’re not ready.

A mother on TikTok The one who felt the stress of having four kids potty training at the same time was Dayna, 31, who has a total of five kids under the age of five, including four.

In a video about her @helloquadruplets The Dayna account shared a comment she received from a fellow mother who lost her parenting ability because her baby is still in diapers.
The text on the screen from Dayna’s perspective reads: “I’m trying to explain to internet fanatics that I can’t force my four-year-olds to potty train if they’re not ready.”
While another photo cited a negative comment she received, which read: “Stop being lazy, ** mom just tell them to use the toilet, it’s that simple. “
Dayna explained in the comments that while it sounds logical to potty train each department, it doesn’t work in practice because they all want to go together.
Responding to one comment, she said: “We’ve tried that, but they notice when one person leaves and they all want to go.”
Other commenters on the video were shocked by the response from trolls, as they emphasized that it’s often impossible to “instruct” children to do something they’re not ready for.
Someone said: “I’ve tried with my twins many times and no luck. Try again when they’re three and a few months old, and bam. Potty training for a few days. You know them best!”
As another added: “Oh yeah… just ‘tell them’. Ever since telling kids to do anything has worked?”
While a third said, “Coming from someone who used to work at a Montessori school and part of my job is to help with potty training, they won’t cooperate until they’re ready!”
Dayna also said she has no intention of giving her child potty training as she added: “That’s right! I don’t understand why people are in such a hurry, I think it will be easier when they grow up.”
