Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry shares a video of rescuers searching through the rubble of the hospital in Zhytomyr and cutting through the debris in the dark
Russia bombed a maternity hospital in Ukraine, sparking ‘genocide’ claims.
Rescuers were filmed searching through the rubble of a building in Zhytomyr and cutting debris in the dark.
It comes as British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace warned Russia would ‘indiscriminately’ bombing Ukrainian cities to ‘break’ their resistance.
Mothers at a maternity ward in Kherson were also forced to seek shelter in a bomb shelter amid fierce fighting in the city.
Sharing a video of the destroyed maternity hospital in Zhytomyr, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry tweeted: “The maternity home in Zhytomyr was destroyed with (Russian) calibration equipment.
“If it’s not a genocide, what is?”
Meanwhile in Kherson, four mothers gave birth in the basement of a regional hospital as Russian forces surrounded the city.
Unverified footage shared on social media shows the tank rolling through the city’s streets and the Kremlin now claims to have captured it.
