Motorbike crash in Barcombe: Boy arrested after last night’s fireworks
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a motorcycle accident involving women and children.
Two women have been hospitalized with serious injuries following yesterday’s incident in the High Street, Barcombe, which took place shortly after a bonfire and fireworks.

A 67-year-old woman from Ditchling and a 30-year-old woman from East Grinstead are being treated for serious injuries.
Three other people, including two children, were treated for injuries at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
Sussex Police said the boy who was riding the motorbike was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries by driving dangerously.
He has since been released on bail.

The road was closed for some time but has since reopened and police apologized for the disruption.
Police are continuing their investigation and have urged anyone with information or footage to report the information online or to call 101 and quote Operation Meadow.
