Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Chichester

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash on the B2146 near South Harting, Chichester on Sunday August 7th.

Police officers responded to the severe collision with SECAmb shortly after 12:20 p.m.

The road was closed for about three hours while rescue workers were at the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Southampton Hospital with serious injuries, where his condition remains stable.

The driver of the car, a Toyota Yaris, was unharmed.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage that may assist officers in their investigation is asked to report it to the police by email at Collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting serial number 573 dated 07/ 08 to specify.
