Motorists on the A27 should expect 30-minute delays due to road works

MOTORISTS can expect delays of up to 30 minutes this week due to road closures along the A27.

Motorists in and around Brighton and Hove need to be aware of several road works along the roads, with some already closed.

Part of the eastbound A27 at the Holmbush Interchange will remain closed until 6am 10 September due to an access closure. A detour will remain in place with moderate delays for motorists.

Roadworks are also underway on the eastbound and westbound A27 between Havant and Pevensey until 6am on 15 September, with mobile lanes closed for maintenance.

Three more road closures will take place later this week:

  • A27 eastbound between Falmer and Ashcombe, from 8pm 7 September to 6am 8 September – feeder roads and lanes closed for maintenance
  • A27 east-westbound between Patcham Interchange and Devils Dyke, 8 September 8pm to 9 September 6am, access and lane closure for maintenance
