Motorists were stunned when they were escorted by a tank at the gas station.
Paul Donovan left the drivers in Bromsgrove, Worcs, rubbing his eyes as he filmed himself taking his Saber tank to fill up.
The full tank of diesel fetched it a whopping 610 pounds.
After buying the dilapidated tank for £15,000 in 2012, he was tasked with fully restoring it.

The CVRT (Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance Tracked) Saber, originally developed by Alvis Ltd. in 1973. Coventry was built.
Paul, 66, a retired photographer, has owned four tanks in his life. He bought his first in 1993 after realizing it was legal to drive on the road.
The Saber first entered service with the British Army in 1994 but was retired by 2004.
It weighs around eight tons and has a 5.9 liter diesel engine with which it can reach speeds of 80 km/h.
The Saber was designed to be a highly maneuverable reconnaissance vehicle, capable of detecting the enemy and radioing back its position.
