Motsi Mabuse’s seriously admitted she was speechless as Russia continued to attack Ukraine.
The professional dancer, 40, has expressed her concerns about the chaotic situation unfolding in Ukraine – the birthplace of her husband Evgenij Voznyuk, who is in Ukraine’s second city, Kharkiv.
And she confessed that she feared she would never see Evgenij’s hometown as the Russian army continued to bomb it.
On Twitter, she shared a clip of an explosion at the Kharkiv government headquarters in eastern Ukraine and captioned it: “I’m speechless!!!!!!!!!!!”
She previously wrote: “For 2020, we booked our flights to spend Easter in Kharkiv and returned a day before my birthday, because of the lockdown we canceled the trip. In 2021, we’re still locked down!
“In 2022 it looks like I’ll never see the town my husband was born in. He wants to show me his hometown! #Kharkiv ”
In a follow-up tweet, she concluded: “Hopefully someday!! Another day full of terror! Please let this stop.”
Motsi previously shared her sadness at not being able to help her mother-in-law, who was unable to escape the war-torn country.
She revealed how Evgenij’s mother called her in tears after the invasion of Russia began.
Motsi again took to Twitter to say: “So sad to hear my mother-in-law crying this morning, I’m scared and there’s absolutely nothing we can do! Just honestly sad.”
She added: “Prayers for Ukraine and the World!”
The husband then described how her husband was unable to flee the mayhem: “Our parents have been told to go out and turn off the water and gas!”, she said.
“They are unlikely to reach the Polish border.”
Former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan also took to Twitter on Tuesday night to condemn the attacks while heaping praise on the actions of Ukraine’s president.
He praised President Zelensky as an “incredible leader” and admitted he wished UK politicians would advance.
Piers wrote: “An amazing leader, amazingly courageous. If only our politicians had a little of his wine. Good luck.”
He also criticized the way the world allowed Russian leader Vladimir Putin to “bully them” as he commented a few hours earlier: “We know Putin’s convoy is coming to Kyiv and starts killing many women & children. than.
“We also know that we could have prevented it with air strikes that completely justify his war crimes. But we won’t, because we fear reprisals. Putin’s bullying has shamefully submitted the world.”
President Zelensky, who has vowed to stay and fight against Russian aggression in the past, thanked the US for support while also querying: “What good is it to say «never repeat» in the 80s? year, if the world was silent when a bomb was dropped. on the same site of Babyn Yar?
