My 2 year old daughter JUMPED in fear over a “sick” YouTube video trick – be careful what your kids are watching

A MOTHER has warned other parents to watch out for nasty trick videos on YouTube that are not what they appear to be.

But it quickly takes a sinister turn in a cruel attempt to scare young people.

The edited video in question starts out normally before a giant monster quickly bursts onto the screen, accompanied by a horrifying noise.

It has already been viewed more than 56,000 times by unsuspecting tots on YouTube.

And the comments were deliberately turned off so parents can’t sound the alarm.

TikToker mom charlie said she was shocked to come across the malicious video with her daughter.

“My poor little girl jumped back, we were both in shock,” she revealed.

Other parents have urged them to install YouTube Kids instead, the platform’s safer alternative that rigorously reviews videos.

“I’ve already installed it now, the only reason it didn’t install is because it’s my iPad, not my daughters,” she added.

“I would just like to add that my daughter has 1 hour of iPad time every day and is monitored by me.

“She usually watches movies on Netflix or Disney Plus.”

Horrified parents were among the 14,000 people who replied to her worrying post.

“Jumped a mile!” said one.

“It’s awful that people feel like they have to do this! Hope your little one is doing well!”

But others were more amused by the video.

“This is hilarious, I would turn this on and let my kid watch them build character,” one commented.
