My favorite contestants are already lining up for a brand new spin-off series

To exclude, to expel:

The I’m a Celebrity spin-off series is set to see the return of former favorites – with Myleene Klass, Harry Redknapp and Kerry Katona among the names fans want to return.

Some of my favorite I’m Celebrity contestants are lined up to return in a new spin-off series filmed in South Africa.

The show will feature past winners and runners-up along with those with memorable performances for completely different reasons.

Ant and Dec will front the special series, which was revealed exclusively on yesterday’s Mirror.

Viewers will no doubt be hoping Myleene Klass is among those returning.

Who can forget that iconic 2006 moment in a white bikini in the shower?

There could also be a return of Harry Redknapp, Kerry Katona, Gino D’Acampo, Joe Swash, Scarlett Moffatt or Stacey Solomon.

The show’s first two winners Tony Blackburn and Phil Tufnell from 2001 and 2002 could return.

Others who will not be forgotten include Lady Colin Campbell, perhaps the most outspoken contestant of all time.

She called Spandau Ballet’s unlucky singer Tony Hadley a “joyful little girl” after he berated her for killing a beetle in 2015.

Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan will be best remembered as one of the participants who had no idea what they were letting themselves do.

She was repeatedly voted to take the trials but dropped most of them – one test before she started – leaving others fuming.

Some are famous just for being beautiful and adorable, including Christopher Biggins.

Filming begins this summer in Kruger National Park.

An ITV spokesperson said: “The team behind I Am A Celebrity are working on a brand new season of the hit series, this time set in South Africa.

“It will be hosted by Ant and Dec and will feature the most beloved campmates from years past.

“Camp mates will challenge and live in a camp environment, but with fresh and exciting changes to form.”

“Because the show was pre-recorded and not live, this time, viewers will see celebrities voting on who took up the challenge and who left. Campmates will take their own destiny into their own hands.”

The show will air in 2023. But yesterday Alison Hammond ruled out not being the presenter.

She said on This Morning: “No, I don’t think I would do that.”
