The feature works with the music identification tool Shazam, which was actually purchased from Apple.

It allows you to quickly identify songs playing on your iPhone – or elsewhere.

You can add a quick shortcut to Apple Music detection in your control center.

This makes quick access much easier.

The clever trick was shared by tick tock Creator @Katamogzwhere it received hundreds of likes.

All you have to do is go to Settings > Control Center and then add music recognition to the bottom of the list.

If you then swipe into your control center (by swiping down on the top right of the phone) you can access it quickly.

Just tap the Shazam icon – which looks like an S – and you’re gone.

This allows untitled TikTok songs to be quickly identified.

And it can also discover songs that are playing in the real world near you.

One more thing

But that’s not all.

There’s actually another clever way to access the same feature.

In case you didn’t know, you can use the Apple logo on the back of your phone as a button.

And it can take on a whole range of tasks.

in the iPhone Settings there is an option to enable a feature called Back Tap.

A simple double or triple tap on the back of the phone can perform multiple functions.

One of the most popular is to let the iPhone take a screenshot – to save you fiddling with multiple physical buttons.

But you can also use it to quickly enable Shazam.

So when you hear a track you like, you can use Back Tap to name the track very quickly.

It’s much easier than manually loading an app.

And it might even be faster than the Control Center shortcut.

How to enable Back Tap on iPhone

To enable the feature, make sure you have updated to iOS 14 or later. To do this, go to Settings > General > Software update.

Then go to your settings.

Scroll down and tap Accessibility, then tap Touch.

Then scroll down to “Back Tap”.

You have the choice to enable “Double Tap” or “Triple Tap”.

Regardless of what you choose, you have the same options.

Click here to see what features you can now control with a double or triple tap on the back of your phone.

These include taking screenshots, increasing or decreasing the volume, zooming in, scrolling, and more.

For example, if you want to use a double tap to access Shazam, click the “Double Tap” option and then enable “Shazam Shortcut”.

Keep in mind that this feature may not work if you have a thick phone case.

You can toggle back tap features or turn them off at any time by following the same steps above.

If you want two different features, opt for one on Double Tap and another on Triple Tap.
