DEAR DEIDRE: My husband tossed me aside like a rag doll when a new woman turned her head.
Sadly, it’s a familiar pattern. We are both 52 years old, have been married for 30 years and he has cheated on me with at least 4 women.

I swear the last time was his last chance – and here and now I’m in the same situation.
His newest woman works as a waitress in the garden center cafe he owns.
He is a handsome man, with natural talent. He wears loose fitting shirts that accentuate his toned figure and confidence.
I guess that explains why I was attracted to him all these years – he still understands.
He cheated on me the first time with a neighbor. So when I found out, we moved.
The second time, a friend told me she had seen him sitting in a restaurant with another woman. I confronted him and he said she was a client who flirted with him and he felt flattered. Again, I forgave him.
Five years later, I caught him having sex with a woman while we were on vacation.
This time we went to counseling. He swore he would never lie to me again.
But recently, his phone lit up with a text from “Courtney,” which read, “Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
I did a bit of research and discovered she is a beautiful woman who works for him, and is 31 years old, according to Facebook.
I packed up his things and yelled for him to get out. Our daughter was very angry with him, while I was heartbroken.
All issues receive a personal response, usually within 24 hours on weekdays.
He is at his brother’s house, and says this woman left so it’s over. He was begging me to let him go home.
My heart says yes, get him back where he belongs, but my head says I deserve more than to be treated this way.

He is a serial fraudster and incapable of change.
He will talk until you agree to let him come back. So stop matching his plans.
He has you where he wants you – runs the house for all of you and has sex with you until his next sexual conquest comes along.
Then he gets rumored, promises you Earth, and the pattern repeats.
Make a solid plan. If you can’t live on this blade just waiting for him to cheat, then tell him it’s over.
Talk to an attorney about what you can expect from a divorce settlement.
It’s just that when he realizes what he has to lose, he’s starting to see the benefits of loyalty – but don’t hold your breath.
