Just hold down the spacebar when you’ve entered text.

Tapping points may not seem like a burden, but it slows you down.

That’s why Apple built a cheeky shortcut into iOS to make ending a sentence even easier.

If you double-tap the spacebar after a word, the first space will be converted to a period.

That way, you can keep typing with just letters and the spacebar without ever having to reach down to the period.

And when you’re trying to type a web link, tapping .org or .edu can be frustrating.

A better solution is to long press on the dot, which brings up shortcuts for many popular website endings.

This should make it easier to quickly type a website’s address.
