The neighbor of a lottery-winning couple is hoping they fix a broken fence after winning £184million in the Euromillions draw.
Believe Cox. hopes Jess and Joe Thwaite keep their word after promising to fix a fence separating their two properties.
Ms Cox, 74, wishes the couple well but tried to have the structure repaired after one of the couple’s chickens escaped from their garden
The 74-year-old said: “I was blown away to hear they had won the lottery, I just hope they don’t move away… they promised to fix the fence.
“It’s good to have nice neighbors and they’re a nice family, the fence has been in bad shape for years and I can’t afford to have it repaired myself.

“I remember talking to Joe and he said they were planning to put up a fence between our properties. It would mean I can tear down the awful makeshift fence.”
The couple owns a menagerie of animals, including three horses, sheep, chickens and two dogs.
They bought the £650,000 Gloucestershire home which has four acres of land earlier in the year.
It allowed them to pursue their love of horses and their daughters to hone their show jumping skills.

Ms Cox was happy to hear about the couple’s two young children playing and hoped they would return to the property as neither she nor the animals had been seen since their victory on Thursday.
They are also said to be interested in looking at other homes since their win, including Jeremy Clarkson’s mansion in the Cotswolds.
The Mirror told how Thwaite’s life had changed forever and they are “not sure anyone is really prepared for a win like this”.
The lottery often makes people dream of what they would buy with such an enormous sum of money, and it also sparks debate about whether people would go public with their winnings.

The couple have been married for 11 years and have two children, both in elementary school.
They recently moved to a new home where they have three dogs, five chickens, two geckos and three ponies, two of which are borrowed.
Joe is a communications and sales engineer and has two children from a previous marriage, both of whom are college students.
Friends of Jess rushed to send their congratulations on her Facebook page, with one writing, “I can’t think of a more deserving family…huge congratulations.”

Jess runs the business side of a hair salon with her sister and says her father, who died seven years ago, always played the lottery and dreamed of winning it.
She has been “tough” in recent years and she is “just like many people and families across the country”.
She said: “My sister and I have been trying to take care of the business and the 20 staff but times are difficult in the hairdressing trade. J
“Joe worked hard and we always tried to do everything we could to do what was best for the children.”
